In-Line Heat Shrinkable Repair Splices

TE Connectivity’s Raychem introduces a new 15 kV and 25 kV repair splice, for use with either
Copper Tape Shield or Jacketed Concentric Neutral cables.

This series of splices utilizes the new triple-extrusion Rayfit splice sleeve which provides high
recovery forces resulting in superior interfacial pressure, reduced shrink and installation time, and a
slimmer space-saving profile.

• One kit replaces two conventional splices for most repairs
• Splice includes extra long tin plated aluminum shearbolt connector
• Each kit contains all of the components required for the complete joint assembly
• All HVS joints have been qualified to the latest version of IEEE-404

HVS-C-1512S-RJ-M4 is supplied for a Conductor Size range of #2-2/0 with a Maximum Jacket O.D. of 30 mm. The Min.-Max. Insulation Diameter is 17-24 mm including a Connector length of 440 mm and a Connector Diameter of 24 mm. 

HVS-C-1512S-RJ-M5 is supplied for a Conductor Size range of 2/0-350  with a Maximum Jacket O.D. of 42 mm. The Min.-Max. Insulation Diameter is 20-30 mm including a Connector length of 440 mm and a Connector Diameter of 33 mm.

HVS-C-1513S-RJ-M7 is supplied for a Conductor Size range of 350-500 with a Maximum Jacket O.D. of 45 mm. The Min.-Max. Insulation Diameter is 26-34 mm including a Connector length of 440 mm and a Connector Diameter of 37 mm.

HVS-C-1514S-RJ-M8 is supplied for a Conductor Size range of 500-750 with a Maximum Jacket O.D. of 48 mm. The Min.-Max. Insulation Diameter is 29-39 mm including a Connector length of 440 mm and a Connector Diameter of 42 mm.

HVS-C-1514S-RJ-M9 is supplied for a Conductor Size range of 750-1000 with a Maximum Jacket O.D. of 58 mm. The Min.-Max. Insulation Diameter is 34-43 mm including a Connector length of 440 mm and a Connector Diameter of 46 mm.
